My wife has a stuffed animal that she has cherished since she was a child. It has always been a faithful companion to her. Sadly, the years had worn it down to where the stuffing was coming out, and the threads were bare. It was wasn’t going to last much longer.

We often find ourselves like this beloved toy. Time has worn us out, and we are barely hanging on by a thread. We need restoration. It feels like we can never be our previous, vibrant selves again.
